Section 3.2: Implementation and Results
After connecting the given components as shown in figure 3.1, the circuit results as the shown below (figure 3.2):
Just as seen with the single sensor circuit in the pervious chapter, the LEDs are always on unless a light is detected at some BPY62-5 Transistor.To test the connected circuit, a Laser Light Source should be directed towards a BPY62-5 Transistor, this way, when the BPY62-5 Transistor detects the laser light, the LED turns off as the following figure shows (figure 3.3):
That's it, when the 25 Laser Light Source are directed towards the 25 BPY62-5 Transistors, all LEDs are off. at the case when some object cuts the path of some laser at this grid, a response should occur. For now, this response is represented as switching in the case of a LED (whether on or off). The next chapters show how this response is interpreted as a response at the computer cursor.
