Section 2.2: Implementation and Results
After connecting the given components as shown in figure 2.1, the circuit results as the shown below (figure 2.2):
As shown in the above figure (figure 2.2), the LED is always on. That's because no light is detected at the BPY62-5 Transistor.
To test the connected circuit, the Laser Light Source should be directed towards the BPY62-5 Transistor, this way, when the BPY62-5 Transistor detects the laser light, the LED turns off as the following figure shows (figure 2.3):
That's it, the laser is always directed towards the BPY62-5 Transistor. When an interruption in light occurs, the LED turns on.
